We are product to announce the release of our2025 Annual Progress Report.

The report highlights the impact of our development work and the positive transformation taking place in communities across Zimbabwe.

Guided by our People to People philosophy,  i 2025, we continued to complement the Government of Zimbabwe’s efforts by responding to community needs through sustainable development initiatives. The report showcases our achievements, lessons learned, and the progress made in improving livelihoods, strengthening resilience and creating lasting change for the people we serve.

In 2025, we reached 555,548 people through 14 development projects implemented across Mashonaland Central, Mashonaland East, Manicaland, Masvingo and Harare Metropolitan Province. Our programmes improved the lives of women, children, youth, men and people with disabilities through initiatives in agriculture, health, education, community development and emergency response.

Climate resilience remained a key focus area. Through our Farmers’ Clubs and From Communal to Commercial Farmers model, we strengthened agricultural production, food security and household incomes. 5,211 smallholder farmers received support to build resilience against climate shocks.

Our education programmes continued to empower young people witnessed by 495 students who graduated from Ponesai Vanhu Technical College and Frontline Institute.  In total we enrolled a combined 811 students in various training programmes throughout the year.

In health, the HOPE Project in Bindura District and the Total Control of Tuberculosis Project in Makoni District expanded access to essential information and services. Together, the projects reached 102,566 people with HIV and TB awareness messages, while 1,555 people received HIV testing services.

As DAPP Zimbabwe, we remain committed to aligning our programmes with national priorities and local policy frameworks. This includes supporting the implementation of Zimbabwe’s National Development Strategy 2 (NDS2) while contributing to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) set out in the United Nations 2030 Agenda. Through our work, we strive to support sustainable and inclusive development that improves the lives of communities across the country.
